Comments:
Went and picked up an order of organic pastured chicken this morning. Sumas Mountain Farms, which is where I got it, is modeling some of their technique after Joel Salatin of Polyface Farms. Cool. They even have mobile coops that get dragged around daily after the cows. Gotta love it, real live grass farmers in the valley!

  1. Whoo!! No knee pain! That is so cool about the organic chicken, you'll have to let us know if it tastes any different.

  2. Hi Starlene,
All my aches and pains seem to be diminishing! I'm excited :-) I still have good and bad days, but in all there's a general reduction.

I've had chicken from Sumas Mountain Farms before and it's awesome. If we have guests for dinner and I serve it they comment about the flavour and texture of the meat and how good it is. Right now the farmers are experimenting with a soy-free feed so I'm curious to see what the effects are.
